Serving for the Beloved Alma Mater

Despite having wandered around in the career world, Yeka Hendra Fatika does not want to leave his beloved alma mater, IPB University. Evidently, with a brilliant career in the world of government, Yeka has continued to devote himself to the world of education. He became a lecturer at his alma mater while studying.

Yeka Hendra Fatika, born in Garut, June 13, 1975, is a graduate of IPB Univeristy majoring in Agricultural Socio-Economic Program, Faculty of Agriculture (2001). Currently, he is the Commissioner of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.

Prior to his current position, Yeka was a researcher at the Center for Regional Development of LPPM IPB University. In addition, he was also a lecturer at the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Management Economics, IPB University.

Working as a lecturer, Yeka interacts a lot with her juniors on campus. It was definitely an experience in itself. Apart from academics, he has also been a consultant at the Regional Government and the Ministry of Agriculture.

Yeka also actively participates in various mentoring and discussion forums for the welfare of farmers and breeders. He has served as Chairman of the Center for Agricultural Food Studies and Advocacy (PATAKA) in the 2016-2020 period. Currently, he is trusted to be the Ombudsman Commissioner in charge of receiving reports on allegations of mal-administration in the administration of public services, examining the substance of reports, and following up on reports that are included in the scope of the Ombudsman's authority.
